I did some googling and some searching but I'm still a little
Confused on if these are the same? I'm going to be putting
FCRs carbs on my CA18DE RWD and my machinist needs the exact
Intake manifold gasket to fab my adaptor plate for my FCRs. I've
Read there is 2 port, 4 port and I'm super confused on which one I
Need.

Thanks in advance!

The CA18 has 2 intake manifold gaskets. The one between the plenum runners and the sub-manifold (which is the same regardless of 8 port or 4 port), and the one between the sub-manifold and the head (which is different between the 8 port and the 4 port).

I'm assuming you have a JDM spec RWD CA18DE? If so, then it's the 8 port, but that shouldn't matter, as I doubt you're going to be removing the sub-manifold (It also contains the thermostat housing). Trying to carb that engine is going to be a little challenging. You will likely HAVE to eliminate the variable intake butterfly valves in the sub-manifold. I can't imagine how having that system functional on a carb system is going to make the carbs work, but I would bet your AFRS would be all over the place.

Another issue is that the sub-manifold also houses the fuel injector ports and mounts for the fuel rail. Those will have to be plugged/welded shut as well.

Can I ask why you're going with carbs instead of ITB's and leaving the fuel injection system in place?

OH, I meant to link these;

4 port, sub-mani to head

8 port, sub-mani to head

both heads, plenum runners to sub-mani

I'm putting this set up in my Datsun 1200 so I
Don't need or care for fuel injection. I really
Want to keep an old school feel to my 1200.
But if it's not as easy as getting carbs, putting
Them on and tuning then maybe this is the wrong
Direction for me. I don't get why I would have to plug
Up this or that on the CA just for a carb application.
You don't have to do it with a SR20, so I'm a little
Confused. Educate me please. :)

So basically I'm getting a custom FCR manifold that will
Go straight to the CA head. So I need to know what gasket
Is between the head and stock intake. I assumed that by doing
This it would be pretty straight forward, I'm not going to use
Any part of the OEM intake, my brother just told me the OEM
Intake mani splits in two and maybe you thought I was going to
Use the existing split part of that mani. I'm not just the head, Custom
FCR manifold, the FCR.

If they're going straight to the head, then you need the 8 port intake manifold gasket. It's the gasket in the middle of the three that I posted pictures of. Here is a direct link to purchase it from FRSport;

How are they going to make the thermostat housing? It's built into the sub-manifold. The intake setup on the CA is way more involved/complicated than the SR's. It has a variable intake system. The SR doesn't have anything like it.

And if you're wanting to get rid of the engine control, how are you going to deal with the ignition? This engine has no accommodations for a distributor, so you're going to HAVE to have some sort of EMS, if for no other reason than to control the ignition timing. Carbs + electronic ignition seems very... American, LOL!

I'm not trying to discourage you, but I hate to see anyone waste time/money if they're not familiar with this motor.

Dude you've convinced me I'm going SR20DE with
FCRs. ;) I used to own and built a SR20VE RWD 71' datsun
510. Someone once told me that was American too!
I just didn't want the SR because it unbalanced my 1200
More. But I can always and will probably have to upgrade
The rear end!

Sorry you couldn't get the CA to meet your goals, but I'm glad I could help you save some time/trouble.
