ok so im a drifter also the leader of dairyland drift haha may have heard of us yah you know whats up fast and furious 5 dairy land drift hahahahaha but yah so i blew up my ka-t and i got the chance to get a ca18 cus my dude is a beer can engine guy and didnt want the ca18 so basically thought id tell yall whats up

Mod list

ENGINE:-custom made intake manifold-garrett t3 t4 twin scroll turbo with stage three exhaust wheel-tomei cams with tomei cam gears yet to go on-bored out 40 over-tomei pistons -stock rods cuz lets face it your gay if you buy after market rods and your less then 600wph -ARP headstuds -SSAC turbo manifold until mine is done-greddy profec e-01 boost controller -z32 maf-greddy turbo timer

Trans-stock ca18 trans-OS GIKEN clutch flywheel assembly thats a nickel and a dime haha

Suspension-tein inner and outer tie rods-tein super drift coilovers-putting on peak RUCAS

Body-stock but getting origin kit

custom made intake manifold yoSSAC turbo manifold w.e it was free so ill use it for the time being im working on my own custom made one so depending on when my engine is ready for install it will be onHIGH VELOCITY STACKS YOOOOO

my car when it had the ka-t

now its about 2 inchs lower and a 5 lug conversion

i guess tell me what you think im waiting on a few more minor parts and then its goin back in the deuce for some more drifting till i leave for the marines oct 14th

no problem anytime haha i just need to get to a hardware store to get some bolts so i can start attatching all the odds and ends of this engine

That's a lot of RTV around the water outlet. You know they sell the gasket for that at any parts counter for less than$1. Just a thought.

Hah, I always lol at mad scientist overuse of RTV, then I look at my oil pan.

Hey, if it doesn't leak... good enough.

How much HP is that turbo set-up good for? I'd be worried about busting transmissions, but I guess it's not too big a deal, depending.

Anyway. Cool build so far.

That's why you use a thin bead of Right Stuff and let it setup before installing.

yah im happy with the setup and i have pics i have a complete gasket set for the whole engine i just actually got the lower intake the other day shipped in so i havent really done much put put on the head gasket where the lower intake meets head and what not but trust me this engine will be clean when done

havent decided injector wise i have till next week to figure that out i have to do alot more research on whats working good on these engines like i said most of my stuff is custom made so i always do alot of research before i make or buy anything thats y my ka was so badass but yah if anyone has any recommendations hit me up

I would start at atleast 550s and probably larger, but not an expert by any stretch.

ok so i went outside and cracked off the thermostat housing and idk how this guy did it but there was no gooo on the inside but only on the outside

That's why you do not use RTV. It all gets pushed out when you tighten it.

RTV works fine if you use it properly...

i have a tial 38 sitting in my garage that i could fab up to work for this setup but idk if im gona do that i love the sound and the capibilities of the hks 40mm wastegate even though its a little more expensive its worth it i ran one on my ka-t

update

parts on the way

timing belttiming coversnew water pumpstarter all my motor mounts

also cage gets welded in my car this coming week hopefully whenever i can find someone to use there welding equipment and im also going to hopefully have my turbo manifold within the next few weeks i wana see what you guys think about my manifolds cus if you guys like them i can start making them in small amounts

Ahh, old Jedi trick. I'll have to do that next time I have my oil pan off!

J/K, haha.

Basically RTV is something I never want to get good at it. Because that would mean I'd have spent way too much time fixing leaks.

I hate fixing leaks.

mega squirt and im running 550cc injectors for the time being to till i work out all the bug sbut when i take it to get tuned im going to be running something in the 700 range

running mega squirt system ready to installjust purchased

origin stream front bumperorigin stream side skirtsorigin type 1 front fenders about 30mm over

running tomei 270 camsand i got hooked up with a shop called erics performace shop in californa good people make there own cam gears that are fully adjustable for the fraction of tomei cam gears (I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM)

engine is basically fully assembled just got nismo motor mounts the other day and im waiting on my lifters to get in so i can finish my head

ya when i get around too it im in the process of trying to finish my build get it out to destruction warehouse to get a 8 point cage with dimpled a frame pillars installed and im also buying a carbon fiber 50mm rear widebody and still have to buy origin stream rear bumper
