Has the ca18 in the Suzuki ever ran? More info is need on the motors history.

Regarding your 300-350 hp goal, wheel or crank? The link (http://www.nicoclub.com/archives/float- ... guide.html) will give you the run down on what you need to build a CA. As long as you do the preliminary 11 steps then you should be able to hit your goal. People have made alot of power out of a stock block but only with proper management.

Have you checked your codes before? U turn the screw fully clockwise while the ecu goes through the flash sequence 1-2-3-4-5, once three flashes occur rotate screw fully counterclockwise and u will then be in mode 3 which will display any fault codes. If this is old news to u then I apologize for being long winded, I've never come across an ecu that wouldn't communicate via flashing its green/red lights.

You have to keep it clockwise until it flashes 3 times. Please refer to EF&EC 64 and 65 in the FSM.

You are doing something wrong. It should flash or something. If there is no fault detected, it will flash 5 red and 5 green. If it doesn't, again, you've done something wrong or you have some wiring or ecu issues.

Ignition off, should be fully counter-clockwise
turn ignition ON
Turn fully clockwise
Should flash once
WAIT
should flash twice
WAIT
should flash three times
turn back counter clockwise

any codes will start to flash

I would like to point out that the Suzuki Sierra over here was called the Suzuki Samurai.

A 350hp turbo Samurai sounds like the coolest thing ever. Do you have any pictures you could show us?

Oh, also, do what Float6969 says.

Perhaps you've already smoked your ecu or you have it wired wrong.

Yea, if it's just staying on, you've got some serious issues there. Sounds like a burned up ECU to me.

Since you have never operated the ecu to display codes before I sugjest trying again with the sequence float explained. Or for a better description refer to the FSM as mentioned earlier

The ecu may be bad, though, I think you should do you best to ensure your doing it correctly.

If you are not familiar with nissan wiring, then you could've very well wired it wrong and/or burned a trace or something. Or you've inherited a bad ecu or your set-up is not wired correctly ro we don't know what we're talking about which pretty much ends the same way for you (a car doesn't run). But seriously, try the ecu in another vehicle to make sure it is functioning properly and this way you'll know for show who or what is the culprit behind your "No-Run" condition.

Do you mean you're not getting the different flashes when it you turn it back and forth? If not, the ECU is toast. As Dee mentioned, you need to find out WHY it's toast before you put another ECU in there and potentially burn it up too.
