Does anyone know the bore limit for ca block. I can't afford real stroker kit from tomei. So i wanna bore it 85MM or 86MM . Import Performance parts.net can get custom piston to fit but i don't know the bore limit

I won't exceed 85mm. If you need a real 2 litre, get the SR. If you spend the $$$s on the stuff that work around here, you can take an internally stock CA and go beat-up some SRs or whomever. Trying to increase the bore for power is a compromise unless you address the issues of your standard fuel management system.

i like ca over sr. i think i am gonna bore 85mm and get custom weisco pistons to fit. I talk to david at import performance parts he said its gonna be about $600. Thats not bad its cheaper than tomei kit. i was looking around and the tomei kits not that bad its US$1,552 for the crankshaft andUS$1,182 for the pistons from takakaira.co.jp website

ca20 block uses 87mm bores IIRC, I'd use all ca18 bits for the rest of the engine though

have u took apart ur block and **** yet? i will show u a pic of my block bored out to 84mm, 1854cc i wouldnt go much more then 84mm, and all the headgaskets i have seen only go to 85mm bore and u want a little space between the gasket and the cylinder wall!

84mm is plenty custom CP pistons or JE or wiesco will do! i got CP, and for rods carillo makes custom chromoly forged h-beam rods aswell

Here is what i think is a ca16/ca18de block taken out to 85mm bore and using rb25det pistons with ca18 crank.

You can see the cylinder walls are paper thin, but it looks like its a runner. I dont understand japanese, but maybe someone here does

NISSAN EXA. Be too heavy the car weight vis-a-vis 1600cc.

It makes 1600 cc -> 2000 cc.The short engine of CA20EThe cylinder head single cam of CA20EThe left CA16DE right CA20EThe piston of neo RB25DET is diverted to the block of CA20.From 84.5mm of CA20 in 86mm of RB25.It unites also the high cam.Timing belt of special order. The engine is loaded. Once the rammer foot.Completion of 2,046cc exa. Torque thickly is. 2003/11/1Main point of NA ƒ…ーン, it makes the big throttle. The left = CA16DE normal right RB20DET normal. Those of RB20 are installed.p

-----------------------------------------------------------

looks like a ca20 block/ca18 crank rods with a ca16de head, NEO RB25DET factory forged pistons, and that combo, with the increased bore from 84.6 to 86mm and i believe the RB25DET NEO si a 9:1 pistons, probably makes it about 10:1 NA screamer...
