I need a show of hands or $$s who will be interested in an automatic CA18DET engine/transmission with or without engine harness, ecu, etc, etc. Reason why I'm asking is because my boy is loading his container and needs to know should or shouldn't he bring them in. The problem is, he doesn't want them to sit and neither do I. And for those who worry about a manual transmission, you can actually use a transmission off the 200sx/ca18et with minor mods to the driveshaft and shifter area of your car. And if you don't like it's gearing, you can always mate your bellhousing to the KA24's gearbox. Let me know who's game and willing to be commit a small down payment. They won't be cost as much as the manual complete swap, but at least you'll have a decent engine like some of the ones I've sold and am selling now.

I can get a CA18DE for cheap! Whenever you're ready just tell me what you're interested in and what you're trying to do and whether it's RWD or FWD.

I'm getting ready to do that to my 93 S13 vert, but it's gonna sport the ricey, but sexy sylvia front and a CA18DET auto, get sick on some rims, but keep under the rice radar and no racing.

Between $600-$800, but I'll make sure today. I got 2 other board members engines to take car of and I can find out then, so I have to get off my *** and go handle their business.

Well I'm getting about twice what I thought I was going to get back for taxes so I'm going to have some dough to throw around so I'm thinking about just buying another long/short block, rebuilding that, and then swapping it all in a weekend or so. Then I could still have my car and not have to borrow/rent one while I'm doing all of that. Anyway, shipping would be to 66604, and it would be commercial. (work addy) If you can gimmie a set # I can get you the dough sometime after the 20th, which is when I should have the money.

if u spend alot of time in traffic, an auto ca18det is not bad at all.My first ca is and the thing is a blast... especially when u punch it, kickdown, revs up and hold on.Dunno if the engine ecu controls the transmission or a separate brain

And I do drive sensibly, okay! The problem you seem to experience was a run away, 15psi pumpin' CA18DET that has no discipline whatsoever:D .
