Wish I would have waited 12 hours, and I could have saved a few bucks and bought this one...:(

ARC sells this unti (M70) for 98,000 Yen (about $900) on their website. I can't wait for mine to get here!

On ARC site it is listed to be good for up to 300ps of boost. To me, 300hp on a 1.8l 4 is big power. Myself, I am shooting for 230RWHP.

I dobut it. I want a composed car that I can drive 11/10s and not be afraid. I can't afford to build the entire car to a level that will be able to control 300+ RWHP, so I will stick to low power and strong suspension/brake/chassis tuning. Plus, 300RWHP is a lot of power and will overwhelm many tires on such a light rear end car comming out of a turn. I'm not a street racer, so big power is not important to me...

you dont need big tires, an open diff. and some falken azenis sports will do just fine for keeping the back end from going all over the place. to get my car to break loose i usually have to drop it down 2 gears and go opposite lock-lock. stupid tires stick like glue, my dunlops would spin through 4th with no effort at all - and this was before i put in the clutch and turned up the boost!

I can break my Azenis loose on the 1-2 shift w/ basically stock CA and an open diff....

But this is all beside the point. Real reason for the thread was to help out a fellow CAer w/ a killer IC for cheap...;)

but we already told him how to fix the problem, and it has probably been fixed by now...

my car is just wierd though... i swear, sometimes i am sure it has a lsd, but when you put it on a jack, the rear wheels turn in opp. directions. around turns i can light them both up quite often and when i try the 'ol burnout in grass trick i get 2 fat tire marks. it has no sticker on the diff. either... anyway, im sure the reason it sticks so well is due to my horrible driving and the engine's inability to run a decent (read: sane) air/fuel ratio.

i can however break them loose with the 3-2 or 4-2 downshift though, thats so much fun.

A magazine in Australia has one of these intercoolers on their CA18 S13, it put out 180rwkW with a few other mods (T25G, cams, exhaust, not much else) with bigger turbos they have taken it over 200 rwkW.

Tim, are you sure that nobody had installed a Phantom Grip LSD on the rear end before you got it? http://www.phantomgrip.com/
