CA18DET and RB20DET Coilpacks

This might be common knowledge but for those who do not know

They are the same.....

Very broad statement but I got some from a friend, looked at the part numbers and they are indeed the same. The boot is red on a CA compared to the RB boot being black but that seems to be the only thing.

So in a tight pinch you can use one of them if you have any RB buddies.

Have you try those coilpack on running ca18det ? Or they just are the same shape ?

So what about running a rb20det Splitfire coilpack kit ! Do you thing is something possible ? Like just take 4coil in the kit and have 2 other coil in spare ?

I wouldn't see why not.... I just don't have the money to see that theory out.
