Does anybody have an extra aftermarket exhaust manifold gasket laying around? I bought a SS autochrome one and the mechanic I let put it on probably didn't do the torque sequence cause it blew in the back. Anyway if not I'll probably go back to stock minus the rust. This is the last time I let a noob work on my car.

You will find that the face of the manifold is not true if there is repeat blow outs

Take the manifold to someone and have the face machined dead flat...

I am about to use cometic mls exhaust gaskets on my current build to see how they go...

Those SSAC mani gasket's are crap. Use the stockers. If they blow out the face of the mani isn't straight.

Sorry, I assumed that the manifold amd mounting surface on the block were checked for straightness prior to my post, which equals fail on my part.
