NICE! Looks good man. What did you use for the port work? I got a kit from THIS manufacturer. I got it from a supplier, I don't remember which one though. It's supposed to be enough to do a Cast iron V8, but with an aluminum head I4, I could probably do 4 of them.

Dremel Machine , And as i remember 4 different tips. i know their Turkish names but i don't know how to describe them in english :)
İt is a very compact and nice machine to use for head jobs. because engine of machine is not in it. because of that it is very thin and handy for this type of detailed jobs.

its costs me like 100USD for tips. i don't remember how much i paid for machine .

believe it or not , port&polish and cleaning plenum is gives me 400-500RPM earlier boost :)

BTW, Float check your e-mail...

Yea, one of the first things I noticed as well was that the turbo spooled up quicker. For a minor polishing of the ports, it's really not a whole lot of work if you've got the head torn apart. I would reccomend this to anyone. As long as you don't try to re-shape anything, you really can''t mess it up.

as you say , huge porting need a port matching job. and it is a real serious job and has to made by a professional . other way you could ruin your head , or get different flows to pistons.

polishing is easy as abc. like cleaning the dishes :) just stop when you think ports are shiny and smooth feeling on your finger.
