Hey everyone, I decided to splurge and spend the $25 to go get my car timed at the track yesterday... here are the variables... it was 65 degrees out, street tires (215,40, 17) and heavy 17" chrome wheels (aprox 50lbs each w/tire!!), my ca has a fmic, 3" exhaust, t28 (from s14), z32 maf, safc, walbro fuel pump, act clutch and pressure plate, apexi filter, apexi bov, nismo mounts, and some other small mods, running 14-15psi.... I ran a 13.4 in the 1/4 mile at 106.3 mph and thats with a reaction time of 1.2 haha! Yes, I was a dear in headlights at the line, so that killed me! But imagine what my little 90' 240sx with the ca can do with slicks and a quicker reaction time....easy 12's! anyway, just thought everyone else maybe interested...

Reaction times do not affect ET. If it's a sportsman tree, leave at the third yellow and fine tune from there :)

^ what he said. Nice mph. Work on your 60' to trim that to high 12's.

Sounds good man! I'm not the best at drag racing, but that time doesn't sound all that bad.

actually at the track i was at they did include reaction times in the 1/4 mile times...I can't remember what tree and setup they were using...oh, and I am using the stock 370cc injectors...the high 12's are very possible, if I can get some better tires on it I would easily be able too...I was breaking them loose going into 2nd gear...

I'll let you all know how I do when I run mine. I'm not big on drag racing, but I'd kinda like to know what I run. I'm hoping for low 13's high 12's

same time the sr20 'typically' run with the same mods. Nice.

is that act clutch for ca18det application or you 'adapted' another ?stock computer ? stock fuel pressure ?not hitting fuel cut on 370s, even with safc & z32 mafs ? Maybe the walbro pump. 255?

2.1 60'! Drop that down to 1.8 or less and 12's is possible.

the act street disc clutch was adapted, its for the ka24de...but it works excellent! I actually don't have a stock ecu, it has the speed governor, rev limit, boost cut removed... And I am running a walbro 255 fuel pump. my next mod is some larger injectors (if anyone has any that would work for the ca18det, then I am interested, just email me at [email protected] ) I really need to get new wheels for the track and cut my 60ft times way down... and then its 12's all the way!

i actually tried the rx-7 460cc injectors and they don't fit unless you bore out the fuel rail, and sand down the small section that feeds into the head... thanx though for the offer...

rx-7 460cc injectors do fit without sanding or boring out fuel rail, I know this cause i ran them before all you need to do is used vasaline and they do pop in the rail with a tight fit

its an extremely tight fit... almost tooo tight... when we tried it, it cracked one of the injectors trying to put them in.... but I still need some injectors...anyone else got some...

damn that is fast.. ^_^. i went to palmdale last weekend... there was a s20det powered 240sx running mid 13s too. .. he didnt have a fmic. and i know he had a open diff, that car was all over the place. but still put down 13 second runs. not bad....my brother's civic hatch ran a 13.9. not bad for a honda ey?..... and oh there was a mustang there. looked and sounded like a v6 running 17s.. pretty funny.. but oh wells.
