If you read a couple posts down in this forum, someone has a couple CA heads for sale ready to bolt on.

Im not too sure how long you would be willing to wait for that head but I want to head down to St. Albert in the summer since I used to live there. I wouldn't mind dropping off the head when I go through Edmonton. Im also meeting up with a few other people that have CA18DET's there as well

to answer your first question, yes, FWD and RWD DE and DET heads are interchangable.

you'll have to swap the EGR plug from the DET head to the DE head and remove the EGR crap from the DE head.

Yes. The reason for the swapping EGR stuff is the FWDs have EGR on them, coming from the back of the head on cyl 4, if you look at the DET head you have a small plug there, DE's have a big gizmo that bolts back there to connect the EGR from cyl 4 to the intake plenum crap. Unbolt the EGR crap (if its on the head you get) and then install that plug to fill the hole .. should be the only difference.
