hey guys, just one quick question. I heard somewhere, can't remember where, that CA18DE fuel injectors swap onto the KA24E fuel rail. Is this true? Are they larger flow than stock KA24E injectors? If they aren't and they don't fit, then are there any nissan injectors that swap onto the KA24E fuel rail that are higher flowing? If there isnt any, what would you recommend for an aftermarket high-flowing fuel injector for a mild boosted engine (7-9psi appx.)

you will need top feed injectors. I would not use CA18DE injectors. I know I know the CA has top feed but i dont think they can flow like you want them to.

The CA18DET injectors are 370cc. I believe I read somewhere that the RB20DET injectors are also top feed and 370cc.

That's about it.

So are RB26 injectors if I remember right, 440cc's too.

370cc CA18DET injectors should do fine on that amount of boost, thats the same platform I'm going to use on my KA24E-T project.

but arent the 370s out of the ca low impedence and the ka24e are high impedence..u have to buy resistors for each injector which is like 50 per

Not 50... try more like $2 a piece if not less. Just need a 10W, 12Ohm resistor if I'm not mistaken. Try jameco.com or digikey.com

The resistors go anywhere on the line, in series with the injectors. So you could put them next to the injectors or next to the ECU... or anywhere in between.

what do they look like? i need one per injector right? i was thinking it sat in the injector spot and that there was a gap that the resistors settled...but i guess not..its like a fuse or something to handle with the impedence..how much do the injectors usually run?

It is kinda like a fuse. No idea on how much the ca injectors are going for these days... $150 maybe?

Digikey resistors

These could work. Although I'm not still sure you need such a high wattage. Maybe somebody else who has done it can chime in. But anyway, those are $5 so it ain't that bad.

And you need one per injector

Why the heck would you buy supra wires for your 240? Get some nice NGKs

You don't need "special" wires for a turbo app. Some nice wires like the NGK should work fine.

Don't know about those plugs (yes they are plugs), some NGK (stock) but in a colder number would work fine. Search NGK spark plugs in this forum.

Google is your friend. Don't expect to have everything handed to ya.

NGK plugs @ clubplug.net

I have never dealed with them, nor do I know if this is the best price. But it is a start for ya. You can also see the NGK iridiums in the same page... but I'll leave that as extra homework :D

Just search for BKR6E-11 in Google.com
