Ca18de - Cylinder 3 - no spark!

I am currently working on my relatives Nissan pulsar nx 88' w/CA18de. I am familiar with the CA engines, as i have a DET model myself. My current problem is getting spark on cylinder 3, its non existent. i have been swapping parts from my CA to hers to help me isolate the problem, here is what i have determined are not the problem.

*coil packs
*coil pack - wiring harness
*spark plugs


I am about to try swapping the power transistor to see if it persist, some questions i have are:

*what else should i try swapping?
*is it possible for the power transistor possible supply functional spark to all but one cylinder?



The vehicle currently runs and idles on 3 cylinders but i had to advance the timing to keep it from dying until i was able to diagnosed that a cylinder did not receive spark. i am going to swap all possible parts of the ignition system until i isolated the issue.

BTW ~ I've been reading forums from Nico about CA18's for two years now. I figure it was time to make an account and become apart of the community

Update, my cylinders are actually getting spark. with the ecu reading 55 "a okay" my next step will be taking a look at the mechanical timing, she has 190000 miles, may have skipped
