Sure, this may sound like a pretty game question but considering that none of my friends and I have worked on a Nissan motor before (swapping it), does anyone know of a place where there is a guide to doing the swap? We're gonna be doing this swap ourselves as soon as the motor comes in. Half of us (including me but not anymore) are Honda guys, so swappin a Nissan motor is a lil different.

What are some major problems that we are probably going to be running into? I already know the ca and sr wiring are the same, so I just need to get the sr wiring diagrams. anything else I should nkow before I start my adventure? Thanks

Jason

What are you droping it into (s13, s14, s15....s15 w/ a ca, now that would be sweet!)

look for an SR swap guide. It is the same exact process but the wiring is slightly different. There are wiring instructions on these boards if ya search a bit.

for one thing, if your a/c system is fully charged with the old expensive freon stuff (I'm assuming your replace a SOHC) the a/c compressor should bolt up you can leave it connected and save about $100- $150 of good freon- use the aluminum radiator that comes with the clip - unless you are going aftermarket (the top clips that hold it in from the silva must be used (they are different) - more to come as I think of it
