CA18 Runnin' rough.

Was going to post earlier, but i figured i would make a video of how it runs during cold start.

Basically, it idles fine when started, but in between 1-4.5kish rpms it bogs/hesitates. Now it doesn't do it all the time when warm, but it also does when it is. I just purchased the vehicle, it made a 5 hour drive back. At 5k+ rpms it pulls like a son of a gun. And would once in a while run perfect for a few pulls through all RPM's. Previous owner(Here from nico) said he is almost positive it is wiring. I'm going to grab a new fuel filter most likely today.

I bought a new battery because old one didn't hold charge, and when i turn the key with this one it click, no power. I move the wire, start, click no power. When i jump it, it starts immediately. I'm guessing their is a ground terminal somewhere f*** up, and i'm going to have to run through the wiring. Anyone have input on this? Appreciate the help if ya do.

If it starts right up when jumped, id day you're battery is garbage. As far as the way it runs..... You check codes yet?

I mentioned that i just purchased a new battery. It seems to hold the charge, but the connection is bad, as soon as i try to start it i hear a click and no power, when i move the terminal cables, it get power, and same thing happens.. however i'm looking more for the solution to my mechanical problem..

It isn't throwing a c.e.l, so i can't check for any codes.. Any other input? Thanks for the response.

I bet you're cel isn't even wired. Your ecu have a bulb in it?

As in a light bulb? When i drive i can see a flashing once every few minutes/ seconds from the ecu. Might be yellow or green in color.

My bad I missed that part. Lol. How does the power and ground cable look? Terminals tight? Any corrosion?

Yes there should be a red bulb (some have 2 red and green) there should be a screw.in the ecu next to them and that's where toy check you're codes.
