I've got a CA18DET MAFS, but it is slightly smaller than the KA24E one that I used to have so my velocity stack and filter do not bolt up to it. Is it possible to remove the sensor from the CA and mount it to the body of the KA? I would try it but I already sold my KA motor and the MAFS along with it.

Thanks

I don't know if the sensor fits the KA housing, but i think it wouldn't work correctly cause the ECU is programmed for the MAF u are using and when u change the diameter of the MAF(without matching the ECU) the readings from the MAF are incorrect.

It would work, but the motor will tend to run a little lean. But with the factory chip it seems to work allright. I used one for a while before going up to the Z32 MAF and it worked great. The only modification required was I had to slot out the KA housing a little bit to make it all fit (you'll see it when you take it appart).
