ca18 issues.. need help fast

okie i dont know if anyone has asked this cuz ive been looking for help on it for some time and havent seen anything but..

my ca has gone through 2 water pumps now and im on the 3rd one cuz the first 2 blew up in my face literally. i now have a brand new water pump, pump pulley, thermostat, radiator for cooling system. my symptom now is this weird whinning sound which i believe is coming from the front of the block. i took off all the accessory drive belts so its nothing but crank pulley and it is still making the same noise. i can not figure this problem out. has anyone had similar problems?
