Ok, I have a CA18DET (JDM) with:* 3" Stainless Steel Exhaust (including hi-flow cat)* Pod Filter* T28 GTiR Turbo A/R 0.86 (stock boost 7psi atm)* R32 GTR Radiator* Other new factory parts (maintanence)* FMIC (to be installed, hopefully this weekend)* New Headgasket (standard headgasket by some generic local company)* Sonic-Cleaned/Flow tested Stock Injectors (a few months ago)* A leaking Front Crankshaft seal * Wet/Dry Compression tests show 160PSI even which is pretty good i think?

Now i'm just wondering:1. Approx how much boost can i run safely? 2. Approx How much power would i be making before(currently) and after a tune.3. Stock Injectors are 340cc or 370cc? and what bhp limit would have them running at 90% Load?4. I'm assuming with a FMIC the engine will be under less stress/prone to detonation along with an increase in lag? ~500rpm+? The turbo currently is fully spooled @ 4000rpm.5. Will the headgasket hold with stock or increased boost. Will it be worth bothering to tune/upp boost/etc if my headgasket will blow? (I'm currently running a locally made headgasket, afaik made from cardboard/wires/etc... or whatever they use in standard cars.)

Thanks in advance.

-Updated. Cheers for first reply c-rad :D

1. Keep it at 7psi2. Depends on the final setup3. Stock injectors are 370cc and max out around 240whp (about 12psi)4. FMIC has nothing to do with the air/fuel mixture. You are just less likely to detonate with a larger intercooler.

To get the most out of that turbo, I would get some 450cc or 550cc injectors and a Z32 MAF.

yes dont want fuel cut the stock motor can hold boost well but like any will melt if you have not enough fuel w high boost headgasket will hold upwards of somewhere over 300? dont know exactly but many people push 300hp on their stock internals search

Nah, just here, silviawa (duuh) and ns.com

These guys are great and always very handy, hence why i'm pretty much often here the most.. check out the 240sx general section too, you'll see some funky s13/s14s and other stuff..

I have a CA with ARP headstuds, Cometic Head gasket,560 EVO injectors, 255lph pump, Emanage and GT2871R turbo at one bar and I am at 310WHP with no problems. I am still using the stock maf! Just make sure you can tune it and you will be fine.
