Just wondering, what kind of gas mileage do you guys get? I'm kinda looking forward to getting better than the KA's 19mpg...or does the CA get worse than that?

CA should be better...at least stock. Turbos are highly efficient and the 1.8 liter should consume less gas than a 2.4 I'd assume...most people aren't running stock CA's though so its hard to compare a stock KA gas mileage to a modded CA's!

I don't think I'll be keeping the CA stock for very long ;)I was just reading that some of the NA pulsars get like 30mpg, I was like O_O

Someone just recently posted something about this. I believe one person said they get 15mpg when taking it easy and 10mpg normally. Someone else replied that they get 12mpg. Personally, my car with no exhaust is still too loud to make it to a gas station w/o getting a ticket so i have to throw in 5 gallons at a time and haven't been able to get an accurate idea of gas mileage. But i can tell you one thing...its not good.

My 200,000mile+ KA is definatly not getting the best gas mileage. That is where the age is showing. I just got the best gas mileage since I've owned the car on my last tank and it was a wopping 21mpg. How pathetic. My last 3 240's always got in the mid to high 20's. Oh well, none of the had this many miles either. It still runs, and untill it dies, I'll keep on truckin.

12mpg reving it to 8k rpm at every shift?? :D

Somehow this sounds a little doubtful. My friend with an RB25 was getting about 20mpg...and inline6 is NOT a gas mileage friendly engine as far as I know. My old 280zx used to get like 18mpg and that was NA and with a whoping 100hp!I KNOW the CA has to get better mileage than that...

oh, common now! My 280zx got 22mpg around town and 31 cruising at 80mph. and she SHOWS 230,000. its got more than that. btw, the 280zx should be putting around 125 to the ground.

sorry to burst your bubble, but I have owned 3 pulsar twincams and all have gotten rotten mileage, like lower teens around town. of course, all of them ended up shattering rings too, odd. maybe the US just got crappy motors. or computers. anyway, i hope to get better than the pulsars mileage. But the pulsars did move like a bat out of hell.

Ok, here if you guys don't believe me about the shizzy gas mileage! This was taken from the "declaration of mods thread"

Cuzano:

"...oh and my gas milage sucks a full tank of 91 octane will last me for 200 miles and 91 octane is the highest gas we can get here in california."

Boost Boy

"...As for gas mileage, it all depends on how hard you're squeezing. If I'm running the car hard to Moroso Motorsports Park which is just over 80 miles from me, on a full tank, I would have consumed at least half of that tank. Regular street driving will yield me about 250miles on a good day."

The tank is 15 7/8 gallons so you do the math...its around 10-15 for all 3.

Oh, wow. I wonder how that compares to SR gas mileage...
