ok i have a ca18det in my car. walbro 255, apexi safc 2, and a apexi exhaust. and with the increasing temps in new york i am noticing that even after a few minutes of driving the knk numbers on my safc start rising.(knk assuming that it is the knock sensor, its been awile lol)(and also i tink that knk number is supposed to be 0). after about 20 minutes its at about 20-25. which i dont think its good. correct if wrong but the knock sensor picks up pre-ignition of the fuel. im running 93 octance.

so i was thinking that maybe getting some sort of fuel cooler ad oil cooler to try to prevent pre-ignition of the fuel.

would doing that help? am i worried about nothing?any suggestions?help!?!?!?

Dude its fine. Does it sound like its knocking? The safcII is pretty lamesauce. You only need to worry if it just spikes like crazy, say from sitting around 30-35 to spiking to say, 250. Just as an example.

If you were seeing abnormal knock, your car would flip over to the "knock" fuel map, which makes it damn near un-drivable. You're gonne be fine.
