Turn those jellybean shaped vent holes into leaning rectangle "diamonds" and emboss a nissan logo in the center (not all the way through)....and you have a winner. Anodized black, recessed Nissan logo painted white or red.

if we're buying, shouldn't we be able to pick our own designs? For a "custom coilpack cover" it sure doesn't seem to "custom"..

well this is what we have if you want something more custom you can give vinny the idea he can moc up something on the computer see how you like it and he can et it made but it will be more expensive then what were selling these ones for because it will have to be custom made with these ones they are already in the system so its as easy as making a call and saying he make how ever many more

Yes...back in 1993. The shape I had in mind would be a very narrow and long "rhombus" , basically a thick forward slash " /" with sharp corners.

Unless you actually want to fit your coil packs without removing the cover, its a Rhomboid.

My idea wasnt to fit the coils while the cover was installed, rather clean up the vent shapes making them something nissan would have used (as opposed to long ovals which are out of place aesthetically in that generation nissan IMHO).

wow, lots of non-sense for something everyone and their month has been begging for........ since forever.

listing a price would be a good idea.

I believe the word "custom" was used because it wasnt branded "HKS" or "Greddy" or "dog fart USA"...... the more CUSTOM you get, the more the price goes up. letting them do w/e they want so they can mass produce them will result in a lower price.

If you dont like his product, I would guess he is more than happy to do something extra special for you for a price.

PS looks good dude, I wish we had something like this back when I had my CA. I also must apologize for doubting you would make them. Im sorry, this community has waited a long time for anyone to make something like this.

don't u think that's to high?

English blokes over at EFL (search ebay.co.uk) have a custom valve cover for a much less price.

Not trying to be a wise a**, just the price seems too high for this custom piece.

Hence the reason nothing custom ever get's made for the CA because it's all high priced and we're all mostly cheap here.

we have no need to sell them right now right now we are just trying to sell that one if later on down the road we get 15 plus people that all want to purchase them at once the price will go down significantly for us to go get them from the machine shop its about 2 hours total there and back so for us to do 2 coil packs covers it was a tid bit pricey plus the time vinny took throwing it all together and planning everything to a t then working it out with the machine company

projectcar240sx, if the price would be lower than what it is now, and with an updated design, that'd be great. I'd love to see a black powder coated cover

ebay.uk and australia have a way better market for the CA IMO, but most specify that they dont post to the US or outside of Europe, althought I've never actually asked.

Dont fear the rhomboid mang....its classic nissan. It is blocky and old school, just like the 20 year old CA18DET motor. If I'm going to add something to my car I want it to appear period accurate, something that could have been a Nissan factory option part.

Here is the rhomboid shape I was talking about.....its almost like Adidas stripes.

Anyhow....keep up the good work. Your covers look very nice.
