Turn those jellybean shaped vent holes into leaning rectangle "diamonds" and emboss a nissan logo in the center (not all the way through)....and you have a winner. Anodized black, recessed Nissan logo painted white or red.projectcar240sx wrote:hey guys i teamed up with my buddy vinny at destruction ware house to make a coil packs cover that was more functional and not so much of an eye sore sorry the pictures will be kind of small but you can see what we have going on we did get two machined up and they look goregous if you want the other one its up for sale if we have enough people wanting them we will put in a order for more but at this moment there is only two in the WORLD you can do anything colorwise to them im having my sponsor anodize mine gold because my valve covers are purple and my custom made fuel rail from my sponsor is anodized gold btw i can get you guys hooked up with my sponsor on custom made fuel rails if interested
Dude, its called a rhombus. Didn't you take geometry?mbmbmb23 wrote:leaning rectangle "diamonds"
if we're buying, shouldn't we be able to pick our own designs? For a "custom coilpack cover" it sure doesn't seem to "custom"..projectcar240sx wrote:i dont think we will be changing the look thanks for the input though if anything someone can buy one and take it to a place and get it laser engraved with whatever if you want a pecker on it you can get it anything all the way to a company or a snoopy mine is just going to be looking like that and anodized gold we were thinking about laser engraving a destruction warehouse symbol in it but just said screw it
and ill reply to your email right now

Yes...back in 1993. The shape I had in mind would be a very narrow and long "rhombus" , basically a thick forward slash " /" with sharp corners.r34 gtr wrote:

Unless you actually want to fit your coil packs without removing the cover, its a Rhomboid.r34 gtr wrote:

My idea wasnt to fit the coils while the cover was installed, rather clean up the vent shapes making them something nissan would have used (as opposed to long ovals which are out of place aesthetically in that generation nissan IMHO).niscort wrote:

HIH
ebay.uk and australia have a way better market for the CA IMO, but most specify that they dont post to the US or outside of Europe, althought I've never actually asked.ca18detgabby wrote:wonder what those cost to ship them state side. some of those EBAY ones are sweet.
Dont fear the rhomboid mang....its classic nissan. It is blocky and old school, just like the 20 year old CA18DET motor. If I'm going to add something to my car I want it to appear period accurate, something that could have been a Nissan factory option part.projectcar240sx wrote:what can i say i go out of my way to prove people wrong and i like the way it looks the rhombus stuff just would to blocky and old school the price is about 100 dollars shipped until or if we start bulk making them
