ca16de MAF question

will the CA16DE MAF work (even as a temp solution) with the CA18DET? I am swapping from CA16DE to CA18DET and my swap did not come with the MAF (plug was cut off of loom as well).

Hmm, I would guess it might be. I've never heard of anyone doing that. I would say if it'll start and run, you'll prob be OK, but you'd better be real careful about getting into boost. Unless you've got a wideband, you'll have no idea what your AFR's are like.

No, I don't have a wideband. I have an APEXi pen TT, but that's it for AFR monitoring. I plan to go wideband when i can afford it... but that may be a while.
