ca16de cams??????

I removed my ca18det cam shafts off and installed the ca16de cam shafts, but I measured the duration on both cams the ca16de and the ca18det, both measured the same, the ca16de cam measured 4.1cm from one peak to to other end as well as the ca18det, I know you guys say that the ca16de has the different duration, but it doesn't make sense if they both measure the same. also I didn't notice any power increase in any power band.
