I knew this guy in HS, havent seen him in 2 or 3 years. Randomly saw me driving today, flagged me down. We were talking, i noticed he had an eagle and asked if it was the 1.8L or 2L. he said the turbo awd one. I gave him props, told him about my turbo puslar, and then we pulled out of the bank.Single lane road, he was in front, rolling along and then jumped on it. I followed, and by the top of second I was getting ready to rear-end him. I always thought those mitsu's were suposed to be fast?

*disclaimer* private road, no innocents, no dead whales.... within safe speeds, yadda yadda.

On a side note, 1986 dodge daytonas are NOT faster then my pulsar

1g or 2g Talon?

Stock they are 195-220 hp. AND way heavier than a pulsar. AWD will get the dig most likely, but all that it does after that is weigh them down. If he was stock i could see that situation happening.

300ZX TT weighs close to 3600. AWD 1G dsm weighs about 3200. 1G DSMs are 195hp and 2G dsms are 210hp. 1Gs have a much better turbo than the T25. 1Gs have gone mid to high 12s in full-weight AWD's on the stock turbo. Problem with DSMs is that nobody takes care of them so they never really run at their potential.

they also only make like 150 hp to the wheels cause of the Horendus drivetrain loss on factory parts. And if he was in stock trim, running factory 12PSI, I would expect you to be faster.

now when you upgrade the turbo and run 15PSI w/ a full exhaust, they're pretty fast.

Whoa C-rad, i dunt think TT's are that heavy. im pretty sure they are between 3300 and 3400 tops. Maybe converts are 3600... but that just seems to heavy for them to be as fast as they are. I mean, skylines only come in at around 3400, 3500 ish for the GTR's. I know supras are 3600, and 3000GT's are 3800-3900.

But that is jsut what ive been able to find for info. I have a car and driver page that talks about 1993 sports cars, compareing 300zx, supra, 3000gt, vette, rx7 and 911. Im pretty sure the weights are what ive got, ill go check at sum point.
