ya man really good job with all the info. i was planning to do an rb25 swap into my s13 but with what you said about the sr's being able to make 250-300 rwhp i think ill do that instead. there will also be a lesser chance ill kill myself with an sr than an rb. good job and f*** all the haters who talked sh*t to you about how and what you posted!!

I didn't technically write it but compiled it from many different nissan sites and tech info on the web.

That makes sense. I read a very similar article over a year ago. It was originally written by a sixteen year old kid. I was very impressed. Well, as long as your not taking FULL credit, it's cool I guess.

Then decide to b**** about what they read, but never take the time to research and post something as informative as you have done. Anyhow I applaud you and great job!!
I absolutely agree! This write-up is excellent, no BS and to the point as it should be. I'm at this stage with my car and happened across this do to SEARCHING and it answered my questions one and all. Thank you!

Actually it is a sticky, it was just compiled with a few other articles by other members. My article is the second one I believe.

I can understand why people want 2JZ & RB or V-8 swaps. Big power lots o' tire shredding torque.

But seriously what are you going to do with that power? Max speed limit on the roads I've ever seen is 75mph.

only about 20% of the people on this forum actually go to the track and I can safely say that maybe a handful of those will have the above mentioned motor swap.

With the size and weight of the 240sx, IMO anything over 375hp is rediculous. You can't really use the power, 1 & 2 gear are worthless, I'm sure that owning a 700hp 2JZ 240SX would be cool but when and where would you ever use it? At the dragstrip.... maybe? Besides that kind of power would destroy everything else on the car (drivetrain) ect.

Great post broham! I am finishing a rb20 pignose, and what a pain in the a**... Don't get me wrong that first drive fresh off the dyno pushing 261hp to the rear wheels made all the time effort and frustration very much worth it. I want to give a big thank You to NICO for all the great info and links on here that made this possible to see to fruition. That RB roar makes the laides panties wet and can even reveal a gitty boyish grin from a crowd of mopar guys. Build on build strong and don't cheap out!
