The difference is amazing. The motor sits in there perfectly now. Perfectly tilted and nice and low. Before the motor sat more upright and it almost looked like the hood wouldn't clear when I closed it. I got a set of them, but it was kind of a pain. I Basically had to get them from a friend of a friend of a friend. If I've got enough intrest, I'm contemplating bringing a bunch of them over and sellilng them here. What do you guys think? They'd be about the same price as the KA/SR ones.

I definately plan to get some eventually and swap out my SR/KA ones for the CA ones, then sell my SR/KA ones for whatever I can get out of them used.

I did not know there was a difference, my ca motorset came with one motor mount but it looked the same as the ka one it replace. Are the oem ones the same? is it just the nismo ones that are different? I defintely want to see some pics of the differences...

That's where I got my part #'s from. You can't take it to your local Nissan dealership and get them though. I had to go through corporate...

SR/KA mounts can make your AC line rub and get shanked and lose all your R12

How much would you charge for them? Would the engine be able to clear a standard STB after they are installed?

Yea, I lost my connection on those mounts. I can give you guys the part #'s if you don't want to look them up (it's in the archives) and maybe you can try calling NISMO in California and see if they can bring them in for you.

Thanks Jezz, I knew that you had given them before, but I was feeling lazy last night when I posted that. I found them this morning and I was going to post it, but you beat me to it!

He's talking about the transmission mount. Damn Brits and their funny terminology

I have a set of NISMO KA/SR mounts at home. I'll see if I can do a comparison pic when the CA ones come in. They have different part #s so -something- must differ between them.
