Does anyone know where to get a rebuild kit for the ca transmission... i've searched high n low and havent found anything of cost... im looking for seals and bearings as of now and maybe even gears... if anyone knows where i can make sum purchases please let me know!

i assume the bearings and stuff cross over for a ka transmission the gears are different, u could always use your bellhousing on a ka or sr transmission..

japan or aus is only place to find ca specific rebuild parts and good luck with that.. there was some syncros on ebay for ca transmission.

that's where I went to get the front/rear seals and the input shaft plate gasket. good stuff

Go to the dealership and get a kit for the 89-98 240sx. Its pretty much exactly the same thing. I think 5th might have been very slightly different, but who the hell breaks 5th?

yea theres this guy i know, names "RicerMatt" (i know i know )..he could brake 7th gear in the new Mercedes if he wanted to lol

I believe the 240SX transmission bolts right up, but you'd have to use the bellhousing you already have. You can find those for $100-150 used.

i spent 500 to have my trans rebuilt before i put the motor in, but i had everything cryotreated and gone through with a fine tooth comb. I even had the case re-enforced a little bit =)
