Yes, if you put the KA bellhousing on the CA transmission it will bolt right up.

All it is is 6 bolts iirc, very easy if you have both trannies out of the car.

Just swap the bell housing and go.

Its not THAT easy to swap the bellhousing. It's actually a pain. The bellhousing does not want to come off the transmission. And there are lots of little balls and springs and what not.

There are 6 bolts and a C clip that holds a bearing in place IIRC. You'll have to beat the housing looose because one of the bearings is pressed into the housing. Still not that big of a deal to do.

Can I ask WHY you would want to do this? 5th gear on a CA trans would suck on the highway with a KA.

Has anyone had their CA transmission rebuilt in the usa? Any qoutes of the hand? Ill ask nearby transmission shops sometime soon but thought id get some personal info from you guys.

sucks enough on a CA lol cruzing RPM on the highway for me is 4500 at 70ish lol

thats crazy.....knowing that when im in 5 gear crusin...............my RPM is at 2700..........at 70ish....

well cuz my ka tran just losted R gear and i have a ca tran chillin and i wanna put that in for now thanks a lot guys
