i am totally stumped from my turbo and wastegate.i have a boost controller and can try free boosting but still cant seem to go above 5 pounds of boost!Do i make the wastgate rod as short as i can and pull it all of the way out to get it to go around the ?actuator?Or do i leave no pressure on the rod?Where do i tap the vacuum line for my boost controller?, i know its off the intake manifold but which vacuum line works for sure!?

If you disconnected the hose to your wastgate and can not get over 5 psi boost then it is not going to matter if you install a boost controller. Now if you try this you need to watch your boost gauge and be very carefull. If you still cannot go over 5 psi of boost you need to troubleshoot problems boost leaks or cracked exhaust manifold.

For ports I use the turbo`s port for the wastegate and the boost controller the brake booster line or you could use any port from the intake manifold.

Ports or probably better term signal. A lot of turbos have a barb fitting on the compressor side that you would attach a wastegate to. I use the brake booster line for the boost gauge and bov.

I am not sure if I understand you either. Did you disconnect the wastegate signal or did you disconnect the boost controller. If you disconnected the signal from the wastegate then it should boost to whatever the turbo can produce. If this is the case then you need to look for a boost leak, missing fiery ring, bad turbo etc.

I dissconected the little hose, not just the boost controller. i must have a boost leak somewhere then, i can never boost more than 5 pounds, or less than 5 pounds. im so lost with this whole situation, i ran 14.71 on 5 pounds and full interior, i wanted to be at 9 or 10.
