ca starting problem

bought this car from someone, gets fuel but no spark. replaced the igniter.still nothing. any ideas? also wondering since it has a chipped ecu, i was wondering if the chip could prevnt it from getting speak. any help would be great.

Have you checked the wiring to make sure it was all good? Also check the CAS to see if the key slot is broke.

Did the car run with the chip before or is this a new chip? If its a new chip and its bad, the car won't start. It'll get the exact symptom you have.

it was running before the ecu was chipped. the ecu is a jwt bought from some member on here.

If the chip itself was never tested then there is a good chance its bad. I had a bad chip the very first time I tried to start my motor. It would never start, just flood out and I couldn't think what it could be. Chip turned out to be bad...

my friend got an improperly burned chip. I found one symptom, is that you could hear the fuel pump turn on and stay on, not for 3 seconds then turn off like it should
