alright just finished up a swap in a 93 coupe with a ca18. The thing is I bought this car a while back witht the swap already done but it had 2 spun rod bearings. I then purchased an auto ca18 and just replaced all of the manual crap over to the new engine. So right now the engine has the manual lower harness and manual engine harness, just using the auto ecu since my manual one got parted out. The starter doesnt kick in with the key, but I can hard wire it to the battery and get it to crank. I've tried searching for at least an hour and someone said there needs to be a jumper on the ecu I guess for the netrual switch on the automatic. If anyone knows what ecu pins these are I would greatly appreciate it so I can get this 240 back on the road.

The only thing with the auto inhibitor stuff is that the output of the auto relay would go to the pin 44 Green w/ Orange stripe which is same as the neutral switch on the manual - however you can start the car in gear w/o problems (I usually do myself, clutch in and 1st), so I doubt thats the issue. Also, not having this connected at all should be fine.

if its not even clicking most likely its the wiring between your ignition keylock and the starter. check all the connections through the lower harness up into the body harness etc.
