oh manufacture date...well damn then i guess my 90' z32 is a 89 since it was built in may of 1989...im not positive but i think that was one fo the first months for z32's....as for the sr swap, shouldnt be too bad, you could even live without power steering (wont miss it much honestly) its about as straighforward fo a swap as you could have....and for nearly the same price you could have an rb25det.....more power *tim allen grunt* but it isnt as easy of a swap *sniffle*

Yea I'm just not sure cause I know the UDSM 240's need them but my Silvia is JDM so I guess I'll just pick them up anyways to be safe.

When you go to wide tires on the front of the 240 you'll wish you had PS.

Setting up the PS lines isn't that difficult... :)

Being a Q's I don't think you'll have any problems other than you'll want to probably use the PS13 rack.

Yea man I'm super excited, But I'm going to need another job to afford this stuff. I'm hopefully going to get an SR threw JdmSource in Calgary. Going to give the install a try myself too.Do you know yet if you're going to get it?

Wouldn't the rack in the Q be the same as the K's.

Correct me if I am wrong but isn't Q's And K's just the trim..ei) Q's -non turbo-------------K's Turbo Both Q's And K's were made before 91.

Yes Q is the trim, the Silvia I am planning to get is a K. Some Q's are turbo apparantly and all K's are. I havent put the money down on the Silvia yet as I am waiting for a compression test and a few more pictures.

As I thought. Thanks Are you going to be putting the JIC Coilover's that come with that car in or selling them. Because I'd be interested If you don't have plan's on keeping them. Assuming you pick that car up.

Originally I thought I would sell them, but I think I will keep them now, its too good of a deal to pass up. If I change my mind however I will let you know.

Ugh, your not understanding me.

There is a difference between the CA model and SR model powersteering racks and lines.

Hence... an 88 Q's will have a different powersteering rack and lines than the donor engine which came from a 91+ K's

Now do you understand what I'm saying?
