I'm in the middle putting a ca in my s14, all the wiring is done but I have a quick question about the speed sensor I would like answered before the motor gets dropped in, they are lot easier to switch outside of the car. Which one should I use? S13 CA or S14 KA, will the s14 ka sensor even fit? Thanks in advance.

I can't speak to the KA but I used a CA sensor in an RB transmission so I would bet the KA one will work in the CA.

s14 ka fits, i used that one and speedo reads correctly. with car on jack stands or atleast jacked up on the passenger side its real easy to change it out. i used a ka transmission on ca bellhousing but yours should still be the same, use s14 ka, i used the entire s14 lower harness too.

I know it would definitly work on yours since you used the ka transmission, I'm using the ca transmission, it does fit, I just put it in. Hopefully it will read correctly, I read there are a different number of teeth on the ca speedo gear, I don't really know if thats gonna mess anything up though.

gear oil is overrated. Just windage, run it dry for that dog-cut gear whine!
