Ok so if you saw our previous thread the, we are doing much better now. The Guys we got the motor from are actually helping us and given us a lot of support. So now we have the motor in and it runs great, strong and no power problems, but when we first start it up we are ok, but after we have been running it some it starts to smoke, and it smells and looks like oil smoke. I noticed a lot of oil built up in the exhaust valve cover breather hose, so we put a diy catch can in it and it is still smoking. So Do you think it is coming off the intake side? I'm just so confused cause it is after it has been running for awhile. Another possibilty is maybe we have to heavy of an oil so does anyone reccomend a weight? Thanks for any help!!!

Either the rings or valve seals or bad.

compression test it (engine warm)

the oily buildup in the exhaust vc breather hose is normal because that hose goes to the PCV valve on the back of the plenum.
