engine: - rebuilt to CA19DET- 84mm, 8.7:1 CP pistons ('8.5:1' flat like stock but the extra bore = more CR)- re-shotpeened stock rods- all new bearings and gaskets everywhere- stock manifold/T25/o2 housing- HT 3" SR downpipe (modified to fit)- Random Tech cat- HKS Sport Cat-back- stock head (cams etc) rebuilt w/ new valvestem seals- new OEM oil pump- new OEM RWD water pump- new belts (incl timing belt)- ARP head studs (pre official kit, they're SR main studs)- ARC SR SMIC- custom fabricated IC piping - Prof Sheepdog BOV (recirculating)- custom intake pipe- HKS 200mm Super Power Flow filter- Koyo 53mm radiator- SPAL dual 11" electric fans- Nismo CA motor mounts, Nismo transmission mount- cleaned/tested 1g Eclipse 450cc injectors- Nismo FPR (for KA/SR, have to loop the return line around funny as it exits wrong way)- stockish boost (no boost controller, no boost gauge - I don't know what its at!)- DIY half-assed ecu tuning via ROMEDIT- Yes, I have the secondary butterflies correctly connected (vacuum tank, solenoid, and two difference check / delay valves)
other: - radio stolen (twice!) (forced weight reduction!)- AGX + Pro-kits- pilot rear STB- Cusco CA front STB- Whiteline TC/F&RLCA/RUCA/subframe/swaybar bushings (all but rear swaybar and subframe installed ATM)- Walbro 255lph high pressure pump- '180SX' front brakes upgrade (94-99 altima rotors + 89-9? maxima calipers)- Motul 600 brake fluid- Russel SS brake lines (don't match up w/ the front upgrades, so are ziptied with rubber hose protection to the struts)- FC RX-7 SS clutch line- A self installed alarm system (no, I won't give any details :P)
I don't have the rear swaybar bushings in cause I'm waiting to get my hands on a HICAS bar, and bought them to fit it. Subframe bushings not in because I'm lazy. I have a RB20DET MAF to install just not done so because I'm lazy (rewire MAF connector, reprogram ECU..). Also, I intend to eventually steal a Mazdaspeed Miata's oil seperator to put in place of my non-existant catch can. I already have a second oil return installed in my oilpan, I've been meaning to do this from the start.
Future plans also include retrofitting the electronic HICAS of a late Z32 onto my car, and (if I have the time/money to fab it up and make it work) direct servo or stepper motor control of the secondary butterflies, allowing to ditch all that silly vacuum nonsense and the problems it causes, and also allow for tunable positioning of the butterflies (not only off/on), as well as some form of standalone using the stock CAS sensor (hall sensors are such hassle to install and the CAS works fine for any RPMs it'll see.. this of course means I need to get around to finishing my CAS - to - Hall signaling conversion box.. again, time/money).
Oh, and a paint job might be nice some time.. and before that getting some 180SX quarterpanel windows and the tail center garnish to go with, so I'll have a proper 180SX.
