i have had even the "good" frams collapse on me. the pure one just filters better than the rest. look them up.
No need to look them up, I sell them all day long and used to run a PL3001. I am about to do a change this afternoon, and I will be cracking the HP1 apart and taking a poke around. But do remember, that this is not a Tough Guard or a Extra Guard like you buy off the shelf at Wal-Mart. After this, I am trying a Mobil1.

The only negative that I have heard about the Purolators is the fact that they tie a string around the filter pleats during assembly, and in one test I read, the tester was apprehentious this could cause rupture. I have just been trying out different filters, because I get bored at work and and look them up in the commercial refrence books in the back.

Bone stock CA18DET, Microtech MTX-8, 850cc's, FMIC, Custom RYSO-TECH intake plenum, BBK T/B.

Best E.T. before intake and injector change was 11.10 sec @ 124mph, still no new E.T.'s with current setup.

We've been on the dyno but kept on blowing intercooler hose off at 18psi-5500rpm's and even like that I still managed to get 292 WHP @ 280ft/lbs torque.
