you have to use DOHC lines and DOHC reservoir.

If you like I can get a set for you.

you dont have to use the dohc lines, i used my Sohc lines, they just look a little wierd. all you have to do is move the resivoir to the drivers side, and unbolt the high presure line so that you can bring it around to the drivers side where the pump is, my car is on jackstands atm so maybe i will take some pictures.

if you wanna do it the ghetto way and risk the chance of failing than sure you can use your SOHC lines. the DOHC lines bolt up though no mods required.

I did mine the same way as knight rider. You just use a dohc reservoir, then unclip the far end of the power steering line beneath. There's a rubber section in the line that allows it to bend, and you just bring it up and hook it to the pump. No metal lines are kinked or even had to be bent, and I used to new rubber lines from and to the reservoir. I can understand how this is a little ghetto, but don't see how it would be a safety issue. I have'nt had any problems so far and it's been like this for a year.

Some get lucky some dont, their have been several people on Nico who did what you guys did and failed, one of them almost got in a accident.

Do it right do it once.

Nissan changed the design for a reason. I'm sure a guy over their thought the same thing you guys did.

Plus the DOHC lines bolt up, no hacking, bending etc etc. And you get reassurance its done right.

any performance shop can make the lines and use new ends.mine is being done, its less than half the price of buying new lines.power steering is power steering, does not matter what engine code.you could go gangsta and not rock power steering at all
