Too much lag? Mine was hitting full boost around 3k before it grenaded.

I put an S14 turbo on the ex's Ca and it spooled up quicker than the CA one did. Something is not right. Did the turbo you used spin freely and have no visible damage to the wheels?

You say SR turbo. Is it a T25 or a T28?

I have a t28 on mine. I used to lag extremely. I looked over the motor and found that the hose from the intake manifold was cracked. Replaced it and now its all good.

Start with the A/Rs of the turbine housing and compressor. My SR (.80a/r T25G) spools full before 3k RPM.

What do you want us to do? I don't have a "fix his car" button on my keyboard. And yes, that does help your problem by reenforcing the fact that your setup is messed up. What could it be? 10,000 different things. Start with the turbo itself. Are the turbine/compressor blades chewed up or broken? Is your manifold/turbine housing cracked? Do you have a big exhaust leak somewhere between the head and turbine housing? Do you have any boost leaks in your intercooler piping or intake manifold? Is the timing setup right on the motor?

As C-rad said, it could be a lot of things. First things first, check for codes on the ecu. If you don't know how, then go up to the stickies (you should have read them already ) and download the FSM. Everything you need to know is in there.

Comeback and let us know if the ECU is throwing any codes or not and we'll go from there.
