You would think those morons in Sacramento would be hard at work trying to resolve the state's financial and political problems. No chance. They're wasting their time outlawing metal baseball bats! I have an idea for them. Outlaw sports entirely! Then none of the kids will get hurt playing the game.

That's stupid, but at least it's on a more local level (Santa Clara County) and the voters up there can decide what to do with that board of supervisors. I don't vote in that election.

I'm pissed that with all of California's major problems MY representatives in the state government along with everyone else's state representatives here find that the most serious issue they are capable of dealing with is baseball bats. They either need to grow some cajones and deal with the real problems or get the heck out of government.

Is there something wrong with anyone associated with the "Tea Party"?

I agree. Does annoy me that the Media and others are trying to position them as racist-whatevers instead of what they really are, a large number of people tired of the Gov running things into the ground.

I have yet to see any proof of racism or hate via a Tea Party gathering other than innuendo.

Funny how those protesting Bush were patriots in definition to those who call the Tea Party participants racists thugs.

Woah, wait, they were called patriots? Since when? I do recall many a thing was said about Cindy Sheehan and Michael Moore, but the term "patriot" was not among them.
