Hey all.. I know this subject has prolly been answered a bunch, but I wanted to address my problem specifically...

I just finished up putting the motor in the car... We started it up, the idle was pretty good, but was a little shaky because of a leaky fuel injector on cylinder 4 (the thing was shooting fuel everywhere)

The next day I picked up an o ring set for 1 injector (pep boys only had 1 in stock) My friend who took off the rail while I was at the parts store forgot which injector was leaking.. we ended up looking over all the injector rings and just cleaned them.. everything looked ok, no tears or nothing on the rings, so we put them all back without the new o ring kit and fired up the car.. now the motor doesn't stay running unless you give it throttle! The injector still does have a small leak, which I am gonna fix myself today, but will something like that cause this??? I mean it was running good the night before with a leaky injector?!?

Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks!

Vacuum leak. Or IC piping leak.

Fix the fuel leak... fuel + heat = bad things...

Ok I changed out the seals on the leaking injector, but whenever I start the car I STILL have to give it throttle to keep it alive! I checked through all the piping and whatnot and there's no leaks! I don't get it!

Anyone else ever had this problem???:(

I have to revv mine to keep it from dying once or twice, but after about 5-8 seconds, the motor holds idle just fine.
