ok new to this board so if anyone has gone over this I'm sorry for not looking for it

anyways, I just got a 90 240sx we are going to start working on and number one problem its an automatic. I understand how to add the pedals and all that good stuff but when it comes to the wiring I'm in the dark.. Now on the 90 will the CA harness basicly hook right in? Or will I be looking at a lot of rigging? Also I've seen a lot about sr20's but nothing about the ca when it comes to under the hood stuff in an 89-90 240. Do you have to relocate stuff to get the ac hooked up like I would with the SR or is it going to be in the right place for the CA to hook it up?

thanks for any help you guys can give!

its been gone over to death, use that nifty little search button at the top, after you have gone through that and learned all the basics, read for a couple more weeks, then decide if you have enough mechanical knowledge to do this, and suitable space and a 2nd ride to pick up little stuff you forgot to get. oh yea, and extra money for that big stuff you forgot to get. then when you have problems, search again, cant find it? search with different words. then make a post if all is lost. that will be all.

I bought this car for my company, trying to make it as close to a 89-90 180sx without going RHD as I can.... Its just sitting in the driveway waiting on me, its one of those things where I don't want to hit a wall at the half way point and it be a month before I can get what I need to move on.

I've got all the basics down to do an SR swap but cannot really find much help on the CA...

I'm guessing its pretty much all the same? change power steering lines out, make a bracket to hook the a/c up... send harnesses off to get worked on, am I on the right track?

You dont need to make a bracket for the A/C.... and you don't need to send the harness off. Well, you can send it to me with $50 and I'll rewire it for you Honestly... everything you need for an SR swap, you need for a CA swap (ie: air filter adapter+filter, downpipe, fuel pump, and basic maintenance crap.

hey thanks... I'm sure I could wire it myself just doing the 5spd conversion too I thought it might be easier to let someone else do it.

Sorry to hijack .....does $50 include extending the MAF wire, wiring in a SAFC2 wire (if provided by me), and in general re-wrapping a previous hack job?

thanks,
