Did a search, really found nothing.

I am a bit jaded with EVERYONE and their SRs. Great engine, but been done. How difficult is it to install a CA into a 91 S13? Do p/s and a/c match up? Motor mounts? If you just want to link me to a pertinent thread, that would be cool as well. Thanks in advance:)

don't search "chuki" we're not hardcore jdm like those cool SR guys :rolleyes

to quickly answer your question P/S likes work with the 91-93 models, motor mounts are all the same, and AFAIK the A/C lines work too (but I don't have an A/C compressor to check it out on)

the CA is easier to install IMO, there is more room to work in the engine bay, so things go together easier, and the wiring is ALOT easier too:)

read the OLD posts, there's alot of good ones from over a year ago!

Well my biggest concern is stuff like wirning harness and aftermarket parts. Any shops do a Ka to CA wiring service? (that is the scariest part to the swap to me) Any good links? I am getting more and more sold on the CA idea every day...

Welcome to the CA side of the nissan family, we have more fun than all others and our CAs don't break so easily, especially mine.

Now if I can just find a CA...I'm looking at a motorset now. If I get the motor in my garage, I can learn about this swap while I gather parts...

I believe boost_boy can get them for you. I know some people here have gotten them from him and haven't heard any complaints.

Rico, I could wire up the harness for you.

Email me and we can discuss it, either route you take, SR or CA I can do it for you.

FYI, if you're looking at the one on ebay right now, it has no startup guarantee, no compression test done, and is sold as is.

Yeah, that is the one. I emailed them and asked them to do a compression test. BTW, what are good compression numbers?

Nismo_freak, I'm bringing my friend John Gomez (drifter sx) down Saturday to pick up his 90 hatch. We shall talk then;)

good numbers are between 160 and 175 i think. but anything above about 140ish with no more than 5psi variation between cylinders is alright. youll want to freshen the engine up before it goes in the car anyway, so new rings wouldnt really hurt if that was the problem. anyway, id say get one from dee, hes pretty good with these things.

They won't do the test. I already emailed them a few days ago.

IC, well screw them. Someone that won't do a simple test to make a sale (a sale that will be a large sum of money) is a bad reatiler IMO. Thanks for the heads up. I emailed boost_boy anyway.
