motor turns on idles really smoothly touch the gas and it shuts off

haha your gonna hate me for this but i dont know too much about the car being that its about 45 minutes from my house up at my land

all i do know iswiring harness it butchered an i duno how it even cranks who ever did the swap f***ing FAILED hardim not sure what ecu is in it hopefully sr or ca but judging from the hack job it might as well be the stock ka.it has garret turbo yet again not sure what trimblitz bov and it is intercooled thank god they did do something right!

when i went to see it today the maf was unplugged but the damn battery was dead so i couldnt try to see if that was the problembut maybe maf could have caused itor the s***ty wiring.

anyways if i get sr20 wiring harness and ecu what will need to be changed to fit ca18 application??

was it dumped there or what lol.Idk about the wiring harnessbut i would imagen if it cranks and runs its not electrical.

Try the CA18 motor forum you can probably get more help they'renext time you see the car take A BUTT LOAD OF PICTURES of EVERYTHING

hahahah lol no it wasnt dumpedmy cousin bought it form some 1 and decided not to waste time on it (he has a million other things going) so i decided wth maybe a tuner car would be nice for a change so i bought it and an s14 at the same time haha

ahhh

he has a new harness that isnt all f***ed up so i may see if i can send that one and a new sr harness to that sponsored site on hear and see what they can do because either way i do not want that hack job in my car

electrical fires arent fun ask my stang lol

im guessing you should check the throttle cable and the TPS dont ask me how cuz idk lol i just know they could be causing the problem
