I'm getting ready to lower the engine into the car needed some quick questions answered.

1. Does the lower heatsheild for the turbo need to be removed? I'm putting an SR elbow in so I'll leave it off if it rubs against the steering shaft.

2. I thought that the stock intercooler comes with a bypass valve. The intercooler I got just has 2 pipes for inlet and outlet. I don't see any bypass device do I need a blow-off valve? If so I'll order one right away.

Thanks in advance,kim

1. the lower heat shield needs removal.

2. the CA did not come with a stock by-pass. it would be in your turbo's favor to buy one, but if you keep the boost low, it won't be a problem.
