ca front clip questions? tests

hi guys im going to look at a ca front clip this week and just wondering what kind of things i should look for and any tests i should do on it? the motor has around 100,000 k/m's on it but its a really good deal. and it comes with body work. i know i should do a compresion test but what else? any help will be great thanks mike

try to fire her up! just get a fuel can, a pump and some line and your on your way.

Compression and leakdown test if you can. Don't just start it up. That oil in there is probabally 10 years old. Do make sure it turns over, and if you can have them change the oil. Stick a battery in it and make sure all the electronics work like they should. Check the wiring and make sure that it hasn't been cut or spliced anywhere. Thats about it. Don't get too excited and buy a POS. I did, and now I'm going to be pulling my motor back out in 2 weeks to replace the rings.
