I've been researching the CA, and more than one person has commented on it being really easy to work on? Is this true? Is it harder or easier to work on than the KA or the SR?

Everyday, I start leaning more and more towards getting a CA. Can't wait till I get some denero

Also depends what type of job you're doing.

The only thing that I don't like so far is having to carry 3 tools to get to the spark plugs. A 10mm to take off the garnish plate, an 8 mm to undo the coil packs, and a spark plug socket for the plugs.

But other than that, it's all pretty accessible. No worse than the KA. And like Jon said, it is easy if you know what you are doing.

I've taken your advice on that one.... but I am thinking of slotting some vent holes in it. I really do like that trim peice on there though, it kinda completes the package in a way. I am going to see if Kevin can make us up some carbon fiber ones though :)

Oh.... btw. It has to be an upgraded actuator. It hits 10-11 pounds when giving it hell. It won't stay at 7 pounds.

If your actuator doesn't work for me, would a MBC limit it to 7 pounds or will it be like we discussed earlier with a 10 pound wastegate setting not knowing what the hell lower boost is?

if the wastegate actuator is set to open at 10psi then you cant lower the boost too 7 with out a stock actuator, its probably the way they upped the boost on that motor. they would just run 10psi all day.

Figured....

Guess I am going to have to get that stock actuator from you and keep the boost down.

I blew the intake pipe off twice trying to overtake a car on my "test run" yesterday. Plus it spikes pretty quick and hits that damn boost cut... grrrr

hmm, what about some sort of woven mesh finisher? It would let heat escape, but still finish the package.
