My CA will be here next week, and i plan on doing the bottom end.

i cant find a FSM for the CA18DET.

how do the wonderful ppl at nico change their bearings?

i know the basics, pull off the pan, pull out the bearings then replace, but theres gotta be more to it then that?

and what bearings should i get

Ca18de from a pulsar?

welcome indeed!

theres a link to a fsm around here somewhere... check the links sticky at the top. anywho, just use some from a 88 pulsar with the ca18de. youll need rings too, again, same engine (as with almost everything else). autozone stocks clevite 77, and i think advance has federal mogul (the hotness). auto zone didnt have rings last time i tried, so i got some total seal ones from advance.

+1 for Federal Mogul.

I got mine at either O'Reilly's or NAPA, probably O'Reilly.. but I don't remember. Had to order them but I was able to pick them up the next day (ordered too late for them to deliver from the local warehouse that day).

no you will not need a retune. and just a heads up notice some ppl will get irritated if u dont search for things first.
