HI im new to the site i just bought a 93 200sx s13 1.8 turbo im near pulling my hair out .
When i first go to start it up in the morning i hav to pump throttle while turning it over or it wont start.

For the first 5mins driving it its boosts great turbo kicks in @ 25000rpm at 0.8bar right thru to 6000rpm. But when engine get warmed up it boost at 2500 but wen i get to 4000rpm engine just dies an wnt rev untill i change gear or let revs drop to 25000rpm again.

Iv already changed ( COILS PACKS / PLUGS / ECU / AIR FLOW SENSOR / FUEL PUMP / FILTER ) any help wud be great thanks.

( Is this better for you im putting spaces in between words dont no wat else you want ) :chuckle:

Sounds like a few things that I can think of, but you should do a diagnostic check of your ecu to see if you've triggered some trouble codes. Oh yeah, whatever the mad one says as well :rotfl .

Did you pull the codes? If it's completely stock, try reducing the boost pressure and see if that helps.

As for the poor cold starting, it's the idle control valve under the throttle body. It's stuck shut and not allowing the necessary extra air into the motor that is needed when it's cold. It's a common problem.

The ecu isnt showing up any fault codes.

il change that sensor an c if that helps. The pipe from the compressor is goin straight to the actulator is ther any other way to reduce boost pressure. When the engines cold its fine thers no problem but when its warm it wont go over 4000rpm. If i drive it hard it wont go over 3000rpm
