ca 02 sensor sr20 screamer elbow

When using an sr20det elbow on a ca18det does the stock ca o2 sensor just plug into the bung? If not what are my options, plug it(if its only emmissions related i dont need it, but i suppose its still needed for a/f) or use an o2 sensor off a sr20det.I'm gettin a xspower screamer elbow, if someone who has gotten it to work could say where it needs to be banged in to clear the lhd steerin column it would be helpfull. I'm hoping that it can clear with a little banging back towards the rest of the elbow or do i have to bend it out and around the column and we ld a bit more pipe for it to exit below. maybe I should just cut it above the column, but it wouldn't be a good idea to vent to my steering column either so i'll have to redirect it.

I don't recall any issues with sensors between the elbows, but do keep in mind with SR elbow you'll need SR downpipe as well.
