is there not anyone out there who knows which ecu to use? If someone can look @ their ecu of a 95 manual se and tell me either ct or ht that would be great.

just thought id let people know what i found out on the difference between the ecu plugs and ecu's and maybe someone can fill in the rest along the way, in 95 the 240sx was both obdI and obd II the obdI wire harness has a blue ecu plug and the and the obdII 95 has a white plug, the two ecu's to go with that are the ht and the c3 (not this is for a 5 speed both ecu codes pertain to 95 5 speed manual ka24de), but which is to obd1 and obd2 i dont know but for those of you out there wondering what your 95 is, you can just look @ the plug to your ecu if its blue its obd1 and if its white it is obd2.. if anyone figures out which ecu (its on a sticker on the cover) goes to the obd1 and which goes to the obd2 im sure more then myself would like to know, i just got a c3 to go with my obd2 95 swap so i guess we'll find out soon enough!

first off, this is not technical and doesnt belong in the engineering section.

if the car is an 89, then its a ka24e.

the ka24de is a different engine, requiring the 95 motor's complete wiring harness and ecu.

the 89 ecu should not be able to run the 95 motor.

also, obd2 started in 96, so the 95 motor may still be obd1.

also, an obd2 ecu will not run an obd1 motor, and vise versa.

"first off".... lol ok sence when has electrical issues not been technical, and also before you try and make yourself look smart, which i would assume you were tring to do, the 95 was both obd1 and obd2 dont believe me call youre local nissan dealer. And go ahead and highlight were i called my 89 a de....., went back and read it and it all looks like de to me, well now that i think about it it didnt even say anything about the ka-e, everything was pertaining to the DE with almost 3k posts id figure you'd be able to read and "perceive" things better then a 12 your old. But just to inform i did get the swap done its a 95 OBD2 manual swap obd2 intake manifold and obd1 exhaust manifold.
